my day has been long. so let me make this wonderfullly exhausting story like a dwarf--short.
fragrant and fresh i zoomed out of the house and board a bus that will arrive at my destinated stop.
the bus was swift and overtook 2 buses ahead. woow. cool. I LIKE. cause i was supposed to be late if it had taken its time at a mere snail-ly 60km/h.*phew...
but the inertia that was brought upon us was a little too overwhelming when the bus driver tried to brake to avoid collision into a lorry ahead. unfortunately, he didnt realised how many collisions he caused in his own vehicle. I SURVIVED.
down the journey, the bus happily went AHEAD. and i mean STRAIGHT when it was supposed to make a turn. SHHESSSh. everyone widened their eyes and stared at each other:" did the bus line change? can't be... or else not everyone would have reacted in a similar way--like any acid with any base."
"uncle!! can turn back a not?"
"haiya.. cannot la.. that driver blur one.. sleeping lah."
"ma? so we get off?"
"YARRR. or else we go into malaysia liao"
"CB!"
there. at least half the original number of passengers tapped at the exit door. wowow. lucky me. i was only one stop away. HAHA. and i could not help smiling sheepishly all the way to bugis mrt from there.
jolyn and kaibin were stoning outside the mrt when i arrived FINALLY. and it didnt take long before AHHERM arrived too. sadly.. beck was still on the way.. cause she wasted precious time wrestling with her printer. NICE.
legs startin to sore, we headed into the food court and took a seat while i tried to mug. but mr kb tried to be cheeky but calling my hp when i was just sitting right opposite him. oh man. and he called me baby in the sms. SHEESh. he reasoned it out that he was high on sugar. NO WAY.
our one and only SMALLEST rebecca arrived 40 minutes after our planned meeting time. i decided that she isnt late. cause she was wrestling with a technology at home.
the greatest and most UNaccomplished thing we did was to disperse after meeting up for less than an hour. WTH. everyone except me was more keen on going off than to do street surveys. in the end, jo and i wandered aimlessly into the shops in bugis street that are 80% closed still. aint that an unique experience?
bidded a compulsory goodbye at every meeting at doby ghaut. jo went home to mug. i went to plaza sing for lunch and held some mugs at a shop too. haha. so FUNNY.
my legs were darn tired and sore from tuesday's soccer and wednesday's liondance. GREAT. and guess what. i can't believe i actually agreed to going to chinatown next. what in the world was i thinking?! food? sleep? no... just the car. *sighs.
merely had a drink with my mom and sister. my mom then bought a dozen of rice dumplings for my aunt who is on a carb-free diet. how NICE and CONSIDERATE.
swerved into alexandra village for another drink--my mom claims that WE HAVE TO DRINK MORE ON HOT DAYS LIKE THAT. unfortunately, she didnt state WHAT KIND OF DRINK. she bought me a sweet thickened avocado drink. i was damn thirsty.
mommy shopped ard for household appliances as my legs perservered on the stand. and i can't help staring into every reflections to admire my legs. somehow. and IM NOT SAYING I HAVE NICE LEGS.
finally it's time to get home.and especially to sit down like a piece of stuck on chewing gum on the seat. this time. no comments about the driver. i was way too sleepy to notice him or his looks.
yeah. happy. actually. until my cats fought and the fur really flew everywhere. seriously. now the troublemaker is ignoring us. *sighs. poor thing though. after being hit and held to the ground in front of its enemy for at least 3 minutes when it fought for less than 3 seconds. haha.
pap came home sulking. for no apparent reason. or at least to us.. cause he aint saying what the hell happened!! and he started cursing all the cats..
damn. he's LUNATIC today. he cant even count. we have 5 cats. yet he said we have 4. NICE.
but pap, wouldnt you agree that without them, live would be very plain? hmmm? of course, you're not the one staying at home all day. wait till you're left home alone one day. see who ya gonna sympathise next.
oh wells. we finally decided on the venue and timing of the outing tommorow. FINALLY.
and oh manns. can't wait to play soccer at NIGHT. heheh.
All the sleepless nights;
and the tears you cry
